Purchase and Sales Order Processing: The profit of each order and each shipment can be tracked. A profit worksheet gives instant feedback into the profitability of the order and is compared to shipments as they are made. All terms and conditions of sale can be tracked and kept on file for historical reference. Shipments against orders are always available, as is pricing and quantity history.
Units of Measure: Multiple units of measure on a single shipment can be tracked, i.e. Trucks, Rolls and Tons. This allows for better checks on delivery than just the weight of the shipment.
Web Access: Inquiries to order status are available through an intranet (browser based access). This is useful for remote sales offices or to encourage your sales force to keep up to date on order details.
Configurable: All but the most basic fields are configurable, i.e. can be turned on or off as needed, on a user or product basis. For example, if a certain of your suppliers don't use reference numbers, the field can be disabled. This configuration would be made during the installation of the program as part of the service provided.
